1. Our role

Lesjobines.ca is a free platform that connects people who have a job to get done (clients) with taskers. Lesjobines.ca does not employ taskers, is not a party to any agreement between a client and a tasker, and does not guarantee that work will be completed or its quality.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• Your account information must be accurate and up to date.
• Your account is personal: you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out with your account.
• Notify us without delay of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Free service and payments

Using Lesjobines.ca is free: no fees, no commission, no subscription. The price of a job or an offer is indicative. Payment is settled directly between the client and the tasker, outside the platform, which is in no way involved in payments.

4. Posting a job

When you post a job, you agree to:

• honestly describe the work, the location, the dates and the budget;
• post only legal work that puts no one in danger;
• for regulated work (for example work requiring a licence from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec), make sure the person you choose holds the required permits;
• treat the people who make you an offer with respect.

5. Offers and completion

An offer states the tasker's proposed price and conditions. When a client accepts an offer, both parties agree directly on the details and are solely responsible for their agreement, its performance and their tax and legal obligations. Once the job is done, each party may leave an honest review during the set period.

6. Community rules

On Lesjobines.ca, you may not:

• harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone;
• post false, misleading, illegal, hateful, violent or sexual content;
• post other people's personal information without their consent;
• send spam, advertising or offers unrelated to a job;
• create multiple accounts, impersonate someone else or manipulate reviews;
• attempt to bypass the site's security or extract data from it by automated means.
• You can report any content or behaviour that breaks these rules from the site.

7. Your content

You remain the owner of the content you post (text, photos, reviews). You grant Lesjobines.ca a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and adapt it to the site's format, solely to operate the service. You confirm that you have the right to post this content.

8. Moderation and sanctions

To protect the community, Lesjobines.ca may remove content, hide a job or a message, limit an account or deactivate it when these terms are not respected. Whenever possible, we will inform you and give you the reason.

9. Liability

The site is provided as is. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available and secure, without guaranteeing it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, Lesjobines.ca is not liable for work performed, agreements between users, payments or damage caused by one user to another.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the site and delete your account at any time in Settings › Privacy. Your information is then handled as set out in our privacy policy.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The last update date appears at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will inform you and ask for your acceptance again before you continue using the site.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
